Restoration House WNC is proud to partner with MANNA FoodBank to ensure that families across Swain County have consistent access to nutritious, reliable food. Through this collaboration, we are able to stock our community pantry daily, support emergency food distribution after crises, and reach individuals who are experiencing hunger or instability. MANNA’s support strengthens our mission and expands our ability to serve neighbors of all ages with dignity, compassion, and dependable nourishment.
Partnership with Sunrise Community for Recovery & Wellness
Restoration House WNC is proud to partner with Sunrise Community for Recovery & Wellness to strengthen recovery support across Swain County. Through this collaboration, certified peer support specialists from Sunrise work alongside our staff and peer support specialists to provide compassionate, trauma-informed guidance to individuals navigating substance use, mental health challenges, and life instability. Sunrise brings deep lived-experience expertise, recovery coaching, and supportive connections that complement the services offered at our Recovery Community Center. Together, we ensure that every person seeking hope, stability, or a path toward recovery has access to skilled support, encouragement, and resources—right here in our rural community.
Partnership with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina
Restoration House WNC is proud to partner with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina to ensure families in Swain County have reliable access to essential hygiene items. Through this partnership, we are able to distribute diapers, wipes, and period products to parents, caregivers, and individuals who would otherwise struggle to afford them. These supplies are critical for health, dignity, and stability—especially for families experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or crisis. Together, we are reducing barriers, supporting caregivers, and strengthening the well-being of children and families across our rural community.
